A plant with captivating flowers and leaves that remind me of the heavens above. Nasturtium is a sprawling plant that spreads around the garden, and looks like a soft blanket of stars with bold orange, deep red and brilliant gold flowers.

Therapeutically, nasturtium possesses natural antibiotic properties and is effective on the respiratory and urinary systems. It is vitamin C laden and full of healing properties.
Nasturtium is a great plant to ward off the common cold and break up infections of all sorts including bacteria infections. While the leaves, stem and flowers offer a more soothing effect for the upper respiratory tract and urinary tract, the seeds can offer an antifungal property.
