Comfrey is a powerful healing plant that is sometimes called the king of the vulneraries (healing plants). It’s been used since the time of the ancient Greeks, and possibly as far back as 400 BC. During the Middle Ages, comfrey enjoyed great popularity as a medicinal herb. During the 1700s and 1800s, it was a common plant in herb gardens.

We have recently used our 'Comfrey Salve' to heal my dog's paw. He jumped our fence and cut one of his pads half off. I cleaned the wound and applied our Comfrey salve on it for 3 days (cleaning, re applying and changing the bandage as needed) His foot has completely healed over and there was never any infection.
How To Use Comfrey Salve.
Apply as needed.

Comfrey* Olive Oil* Beeswax* Shea Butter*
Comfrey -
anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-haemorrhagic, anti-rheumatic, anti-ulcer, demulcent, expectorant, vulnerary. Used for wound healing, scar formation/diminishing, broken bones, sprains/strains, bites, stings, rashes, burns and ulcers. Along with many more internal healing benefits (this salve is not to be used internally)
Olive Oil -
Olive oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, and has been linked to improved skin moisturization, healing, anti-aging effects, and relief from sun damage.
Shea Butter -
non-comedogenic – meaning they will not clog your pores, absorbs into the skin to lock in moisture, soothe and soften skin. rich in vitamin A and E, anti-inflammatory, improves circulation, and benefits dry and inflamed skin.
