In the battle of you versus blood-sucking bugs, you probably want to do everything you can to prevent itchy, annoying mosquito bites. For us that usually means protecting our skin with our "Bugger Off Balm" and some more obvious tactics, like covering up with light clothing and avoiding peak mosquito hours such as dusk and dawn. Always be aware of the environment and seasons, are you in wetlands? rainforest? tropical weather?
Our bugger off balm is made with organic beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil and the E ssential Oils of citronella, mint, lemongrass, eucalyptus and myrtle.
How to use our Bugger Off Balm
Apply a finger tip portion onto an area of your skin and spread until your skin in lightly coated, apply as needed.
Lemongrass -
is found to be a superior mosquito repellent.
Citronella -
When applied to the skin, it has some short-term repellent properties against mosquitoes.
Mint -
incredibly rich in volatile oils, making it a fitting remedy for colds, flu, sinus infections and nasal congestion. aids your immune system in a protective manner. helps your body clear viral, bacterial and fungal infections. It is also a natural pest repellent.
Eucalyptus -
is balancing, energising and revitalising. has been traditionally used in aromatherapy to: relieve the severity of cold and flu symptoms such as sinusitis, nasal congestion, cough, mild headaches and mosquito repellent.
Myrtle -
has been traditionally used in aromatherapy to: relieve the severity of cold and flu symptoms such as sinusitis, nasal congestion, cough and mild headaches.
Coconut Oil -
contains antioxidants and speeds up wound healing.
Shea Butter -
non-comedogenic – meaning they will not clog your pores, absorbs into the skin to lock in moisture, soothe and soften skin. rich in vitamin A and E, anti-inflammatory, improves circulation, and benefits dry and inflamed skin.
